In choosing a Cavalier
King Charles Spaniel (CKCS) as your new family member, you are making a commitment to his care for the next 10-15 years. Please
research the breed and review your family plans before you make any decisions. All of our dogs are raised in the home, not
in a kennel. I will only place our puppies into where they will be cherished and pampered. We do not sell to brokers,
pet shops or commercial breeders. Each puppy is evaluated for type and temperament on a continuing basis as they grow. I
try to match this with your family and lifestyle. Whether you are purchasing for the show ring or simply as a family
pet, I want it to a match for life.
When you buy a
Bitterroot Cavalier, the puppies will have a great start to being potty trained, trained to use a doggy door, started
on leash training, and EXTREMELY well socialized!! My puppies will also sleep throughout the night in his/her crate.
All my puppies are crate trained!
In his/her puppy bag, you will receive a binder
with his health records, micro-chip, AKC registration form, lots of info about training, caring for your new puppy, parents
pedigree including the OFA and CERF. You will also receive samples of different types of food, like honest kitchen which is
dehydrated raw food. He/she will also get a handmade puppy blanket to cuddle in and a puppy toy.
My entire
doggie parents are OFA certified for heart’s along with CERF for eyes by Board Certified Ophthalmologists and Cardiologists.
These clearance certificates are available for you to see. You can also click on the parents pages and go to their
pedigrees .
I are very careful with the health of our puppies and dogs.
The contract
is on the website (click on puppy adoption information) for you to look over. If you would like to reserve a pup
from a future litter or one that is less than 12 weeks of age the deposit is $400.
The full price of a puppy
is $1700 with limited AKC registration on a neuter/spay contract. Contact me for show/full registration contract.
Your $400 deposit will reserve for you the next available
puppy of mutual choice. It will be applied to your purchase price. Deposits are non-refundable and may be applied to another
litter only if your puppy shows a genetic or hereditary defect or does not pass health exam.
Please plan a time when
you can spend the first few days at home all day with him. This helps ease the separation from mom and siblings and ensures
bonding. Family vacations, moves, and events or celebrations should be completed prior to arrival for new puppy. The need
consistency and quiet routines to ensure a smooth transition and for housebreaking.
I now offer boarding to my
puppy buyers, space is limit especially during the summer months. The rate is $10/per day with you supplying the food or $13/per
day with me supplying food.
