Fostering Program
Have you always wanted a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, but could not afford one?
Then fostering a Cavalier might be for you.
This program enables me to place my breeding female in a potential forever homes during the first 5 to 6 years of their lives.
Anyone and everyone is more than welcome to fill out an application. However, this is a very selective program. I only allow highly qualified people and families to foster my girls. After filling out and emailing back the application, I will set up a phone interview with you. Then, I will conduct a home visit. As said, I am very strict and selective. I will only foster my dogs within the Bitterroot Valley and Missoula.
How the fostering program works;
Ultimately, the dog is mine until she is 4/5 years old. When the dog reaches retirement age, she will be spayed (a couple of months after her puppies are weaned) and the ownership will be transferred over, at no cost to you.
I will pay for most vet bills and dog food for the first 4/5 years of her life or until she becomes yours.
If at any time the fostering program is not for you, I will take the dog back.
The dog will come back to me when she is in heat. I may or may not choose to breed her. I will have her for the next few days or weeks until she comes out of heat. She will then come home to you.
The dog then will come back to me 5 to 7 days prior to whelping. She will stay with me until her puppies are fully weaned approx. 6-7 weeks. She will then go back home to you until her next heat.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please fill out the application. Then either scan and email it back or mail back to me and I will call you back with a phone interview.
After you are approved, you will then get on a waiting list for the next available dog.
